I understand your metaphor: the loans for medical school, the expectations of, not to mention the contract with, IHC and all the approval from your family combine to make you feel like you are locked into a direction with no choice. But you are the creator. Your family supports and loves you, no matter what you may decide to create. You are the source and you have the power.
