A witch or wizard can extract their own memories or someone else's and store them in the Pensieve and review them later. It also relieves the mind when it becomes flooded with information. Anyone can examine the memories in the Pensieve, which also allows viewers to fully immerse themselves in the memories stored within.

Good pictures of the boys, Allison! Wes is such a blast to be around; he has to move back because after every time he comes down I never feel like he was here long enough. Watching him chase the cats around the house is so funny! Someone should get it on video!
